What about vitamins?
I have been taking vitamins and supplements off and on since I was about 20 years old. I was never consistent with it, I switched brands quite often and I never knew what I was supposed to take. In other words, was a multivitamin enough? Did I need to take something else? Was it even doing anything? For most of my adult life, taking vitamins were not a huge priority for me. It was not until about 3 years ago that I started taking vitamins regularly. I first started looking into plant-based multivitamins, then I added probiotics, and then fish oil and then turmeric, and then biotin. I still did not notice that much of a difference in my health. Last year, my chiropractor told me to not take vitamins from the drug store or GNC because not much would be absorbed into the body. He said that I should get my vitamins from a health food store, such as Sprouts or Whole Foods. So I started buying cheapest vitamins I could find at Sprouts, which they happen to sell in other stores too. I noticed a little bit of difference, but nothing life-changing. In March, I started taking the Peak Performance pack from the wellness co-op I shop at. Let me tell you, these vitamins are amazing. I actually could sleep better while taking these and if my dog wakes me up in the middle of the night or early in the morning, I am able to fall back to sleep. I have never been able to do that before. I actually ran out of these vitamins a couple days ago and I can feel the difference. If you are looking for a great supplement, I highly recommend these. Take a look at the product label (these are women vitamins, the men's is not much different).melaleuca.com/elizabethcowell
